Rates & Rules

Important information...

1. Check-out: 12:00 noon Check-in: 1:00 pm

2. Cancellation/refund policy:  Refunds are only given for serious illness or death of immediate parties making the reservation and must be accompanied by a death certificate or doctor's excuse.  A 15% handling fee will be charged on all approved refunds.  No refunds will be given on unused rent due to early departures or no shows. 

Cancellations (not due to death or illness as above) that are received at least 7 days prior to the date of the reservation will be given a credit  toward another camping stay minus a $10 handling fee.  If received less than 7 days prior, no credit will be given.  Inclement weather is NOT a valid reason for cancellation. 

Deposits for reservations must arrive in our office within seven days from the day the reservation is made.  If the required deposit is not received within that time, the reservation will be cancelled. No reservation will be confirmed without a deposit.  

3.  Rates are based on two adults and their children under age 16. Extra adults and/or children age 16 and over are charged $3 per person per night.

4. Every effort will be made to honor a reservation for a specific site, however, management reserves the exclusive right to assign sites and/or change sites as needed to promote the optimum productivity and efficiency of the campground. Deposits do NOT guarantee a specific site and will not be refunded in the case of refusal of assigned site. Management may offer an alternate site if any are available, but are not obligated to do so.

5. There are no campfires allowed at sites.  There is a communal campfire pit in park for your use.  No wood may be brought in.  Wood is provided.

We accept cash or checks only.  No credit or debit cards are accepted.

Camp Club USA member 50% discount rules:  Maximum 3 discounted nights per stay.  No discounts on holidays.  No discounts in the months of July & August.  Extra adults and/or tents on sites are not included in discount

Directions to campground.  Exit US 31 at either Montague/Whitehall exit for Northbound US31 or Fruitvale exit for Southbound US31 onto Business 31.  Follow Business 31 to campground in downtown Montague next to the Weathervane and the Bicycle Trail.

Campground features:

1. City water, sewer, and electric at all sites except tent sites. Tent sites have water and electric only.  Rustic tent sites have none. 
2. Free cable TV at all sites except rustic tent sites. Free wireless internet at sites for registered campers.

3. Picnic tables and cement patios at all sites.
4. Clean, modern restrooms and hot showers.
5. 30/50/110 electric service.
6. Dumping station (free to campers). $10 fee to non-campers.
7. Two public boat launches nearby.
8. Central common fire pit and pavilion with wood provided by city.  No campfires allowed at sites.

9. Daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates.
10. Big rigs welcome!
