White Lake Area Nature Walks are held from May 3rd through September 6th on the first Saturday of each month only.  Meet at noon at the White Lake Area Chamber office.  For more information call 231.893.4585

The State Park Bicycle Trail crosses the White River and has a viewing area of the wetlands for birdwatchers and nature lovers.

The annual White Lake Maritime Festival is celebrated in August  at Whitehall's Goodrich Park.  The festival will feature entertainment and events for families and folks of all ages.  There will be a shuffleboard tournament, 5K run, food and beverage tent, pancake breakfast on Saturday, kids games and activities, arts and crafts, a trout pond, "pets in the park" contest and live on stage entertainment on Saturday from 8:00 pm to midnight.  Hope to see you there!

The annual "Cruizin" parade and antique car display takes place on the last Friday in July.  The parade of cars will start in Whitehall and proceed over the causeway to Montague and will line up on Ferry Street for viewing after.  There will be food vendors and music during the viewing period.  Parade starts at 7:00 pm so get here early!  Last year parade watchers saw over 400 antique cars and trucks!

Fruitland Township's annual Blueberry Festival will start with a pancake breakfast (blueberry of course!) followed by an arts & crafts show, children's activities and free trolley rides to the White River Light Station.  The festival is held on a Saturday in July from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  For more information call: 231.766.3208

Whitehall holds it annual "Fall Fest" in the North Mears parking lot in downtown Whitehall in late September.  There will be a farmers' market, live entertainment, arts and crafts and a beverage tent.  Activities start at 10:00 and run to 12:00 midnight.   For more information call: 231.893.4585

The annual Montague "Pumpkinfest" will be held on the second Saturday in October with 9:30 am registration for the pumpkin roll.  The famous Pumpkin Roll down the Dowling St. hill plus many pumpkin events, (largest pumpkin, pumpkin painting, seed spitting, pumpkin carving and pumpkin bowling) will take place with fun for the whole family.  For more information call 231.893.1155 or 231.893.4585
